개념
- 다변수 실함수의 극한
- $\lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} f(\vec{x}) = a$
- $\Leftrightarrow \forall \epsilon > 0, \exists \delta > 0, (0 < \|\vec{x} - \vec{p}\| < \delta \Rightarrow | f(x) - a | < \epsilon)$
- $\Leftrightarrow \vec{x}$ 가 $\vec{p}$에 가까울수록, $f(\vec{x})$는 $a$에 가까운 값이다. (엄밀하지 않은 정의)
- 예
- $\lim_{(x, y) \to (a, b)} x = a$
- $\lim_{(x, y) \to (a, b)} y = b$
- $\lim_{(x, y) \to (a, b)} c = c$ (c는 상수)
- $\lim_{(x, y) \to (1, 2)} x + y = 3$
- 경로에 따라 일변수 극한값이 달라진다면, 그 함수는 극한이 존재하지 않는다.
- 다변수 실함수의 연속
- $f(\vec{x}) : \vec{p}$에서 연속 $\Leftrightarrow \lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} f(\vec{x}) = f(\vec{p})$에서 연속
- $f(\vec{x}) :$연속 $\forall \vec{p}, f(\vec{x}) : \vec{p}$에서 연속
- $f(\vec{x}), g(\vec{x}) : \mathbb{R}^{n} \to \mathbb{R} : \vec{p}$에서 연속 일 때
- $f(\vec{x}) + g(\vec{x}) : \vec{p}$에서 연속
- $f(\vec{x}) \cdot g(\vec{x}) : \vec{p}$에서 연속
- ${f(\vec{x}) \over g(\vec{x})} : \vec{p}$에서 연속 $(\lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} g(\vec{x}) \neq 0)$
- $h(t) : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R} : f(\vec{p})$에서 연속, $f(\vec{x}) = \vec{p}$에서 연속 $\Rightarrow h(f(\vec{x})) : \vec{p}$에서 연속
다변수 실함수식
- $\lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} f(\vec{x}) = a, \lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} g(\vec{x}) = b$ 일 때
- $\lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} f(\vec{x}) + g(\vec{x}) = a + b$
- $\lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} f(\vec{x}) \cdot g(\vec{x}) = a \cdot b$
- $\lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} {f(\vec{x}) \over g(\vec{x})} = {a \over b} (b \neq 0)$
- $h : \mathbb{R} \to \mathbb{R}, \lim_{t \to a} h(t) = c \Rightarrow \lim_{\vec{x} \to \vec{p}} h(f(\vec{x})) = c$
