Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia, has a moderate and cool climate due to its high elevation of 2,640 m (8,660 ft) above sea level. The average annual temperature in Bogotá is around 15°C (59°F). Temperatures can drop significantly at night, so pack warm clothing.
During the day, temperatures usually range from 17-19°C (63-66°F). Humidity is moderate, which if you’re coming from Cartagena, will be a blessing. Like other Colombian cities, Bogotá gets lots of rain, so prepare with a rain jacket or umbrella.
